How long in advance should I arrive at the parking space at Sydney airport?

The Kingsford smith (Sydney airport) advises you to arrive 2 hours before a domestic flight and 3 hours before international flight. That is why Parkos suggests that you park your car 3.5 hours before your flight time, leaving you just under an hour to get to the airport and have your car parked safely. This will keep you from stress and allow you to begin your travels calmly.

Shuttle parking

You may have opted for shuttle parking at Sydney airport. If so, you can generally get onto a shuttle straight away to the airport. If not, there may be a short waiting time for the shuttle bus to return. The waiting time should not be longer than 20 minutes. Have a look on our website for more information prior to your arrival.

Valet parking

If valet parking is what you selected, then you want to arrive at an agreed upon point at least 3 hours before your flight. An employee will need to check your car first for any damage and prepare the necessary paperwork. It can be that you may have to wait a short while for an available employee when parking is crowded. By arriving well in advance you can travel with confidence.
